The speech illustrates the method of integrated approach for the design of complex structures according to shape and size. The focus is mainly devoted to New Headquarters of Regione Piemonte, a skyscraper higher than 200 meters, whose structural design has used advanced three-dimensional tools, the only ones that allow to control all aspects, as the interactions between structures and foundations, and with other building systems such as the envelope.
